Hello, I’m Nancy Evans. I always say I have the best job in the world and I mean it! I never imagined when I graduated from nursing school in 1985, that my career as a Register Nurse, Nurse Manager, and Nursing Instructor in Richmond, VA would provide the foundation for helping children and adults with stress and learning challenges in Fort Collins, CO!
Indeed, it was the move to Fort Collins in 2004 that led me more deeply to the world of Healing Arts. On a quest to help a family member, I discovered Brain Integration Technique and knew I had to learn how to do it. In 2006 my husband Robert and I founded Open Pathways to Learning which eventually expanded into Thrive CommUnity Acupuncture! Since beginning my journey into the healing arts, I have learned many energy techniques which I have integrated into my practice.
I am proud of the quality of care that we offer through Thrive CommUnity Acupuncture and I love every moment of time I spend with my clients. Along with that, I love working with Robert, and the other providers who work with us, to help build a future where effective complementary services become mainstream and available to those who need them. If you are so led, I look forward to being in service to you and helping you along your journey.

We may not even recognize we have a problem until the body presents some pain, illness, or anxiety, or we simply reach a point where we can't function. It is important to receive care from your physician and other traditional providers and along with that support, complementary care services can be very helpful as part of your overall healing plan.
